I offer this concept I invented in 2014 as a OSWH supporter, user and fan. Prototype actually in version 0.2.
It is a 3D-Printer moved by hand ! Without any stepper motor (for now). Composed of a pantograph and a hot bed (aka heated bed) moved by the operator for each layer using a wheel under the desktop. (So the layer height is totally free.)
Of course, when starting a new layer, the operator has to change the blue-print on the right, or repeat the previous one several times.
The final object finition and precision depends on the operator work.
The extruder (of your choice) should be placed on the "X-carriage" (not finished in the .blend) and a button added to the "pointer" for extruding.
Sorry for the mess in the .blend, but it's there !
You can help me or make your own version with a chocolate extruder or argile... It's up to you.
I'm rebuilding it from scratch right now, but it's not my priority project, so I'm slow on this one and YOU could go ahead and fork it !

I will be finishing this in the coming months.
This is a "funny" idea I had in Toulouse, France around 10 years ago or a bit more.
I almost finished the first prototype but my personnal life sent me a NOPE in the face.
