manuel reprap version 0.2

I offer this concept I invented in 2014 as a OSHW supporter, user and fan. Prototype actually in version 0.2.

It is a 3D-Printer moved by hand ! Without any stepper motor (for now). Composed of a pantograph and a hot bed (aka heated bed) moved by the operator for each layer using a wheel under the desktop. (So the layer height is totally free.)

Of course, when starting a new layer, the operator has to change the blue-print on the right, or repeat the previous one several times.

The final object finition and precision depends on the operator work.

The extruder (of your choice) should be placed on the "X-carriage" (not finished in the .blend) and a button added to the "pointer" for extruding.

Sorry for the mess in the .blend, but it's there !

You can help me or make your own version with a chocolate extruder or argile... It's up to you.

I'm rebuilding it from scratch right now, but it's not my priority project, so I'm slow on this one and YOU could go ahead and fork it !

I'm not even talking about the PANTOGRAPH part !

If you know how it works, that's cool you already know this :

A pantograph can be modified to change the scale of the reproduction.

So with a different setup, it can reduce the model or augment it.

This depends on : Where you put the central 2 arms driving the X-carriage.

Any questions ? (create an account and go ahead, or send me an e-mail)

Sorry for the "OSWH" mistake (if you saw it). Corrected.

Sometimes I'm tired when I write those pages.
