Here is a demo of different infills : one of the BIGGEST ARGUMENT IN 3D-PRINTING !!!
Yep, realize that you choose how to FILL the objects. Which saves enormous amounts of filament !
From top to bottom:
- 20% Rectilinear infill,
- 10% Rectilinear infill,
- 5% Rectilinear infill,
- 20% Honeycomb infill,
- 10% Honeycomb infill,
- 5% Honeycomb infill,
- 20% 3D-Honeycomb infill,
- 10% 3D-Honeycomb infill,
- 5% 3D-Honeycomb infill,
- Black (unknown infill => the infill can be calculated, comparing the weight of other bars with this one; and thinking about that : you can detect if there's something hidden in this black bar but it's not so easy... the object has to be broken or passed throught a X-rays machine to be sure of its content),
- 0% infill (with a trick for it : because the last layer is a "bridge" type one, this object is rotated by 90° on X, so the layers orientation is different if you look closely),
- Vase mode : only the border is extruded with only ONE pass by layer.
